This yellow-silver reflective tape offers high visibility for firefighters, industrial workers, and others in hazardous environments. The segmented design of the tape provides enhanced flexibility and improves air circulation away from the wearer’s body. This increased breathability helps prevent overheating, allowing firefighters and workers to perform their duties with reduced physical stress.
The tape is suitable for use on bunker gear, FR jackets, trousers, and overalls where stitching is not recommended. XM-8010C is made from high-tech materials, and its adhesive properties may vary depending on the type of FR fabric. Therefore, we advise conducting adhesion tests on specific FR garments before initial use. It is also advisable to conduct a test wash of FR clothing with the reflective tape applied.
Additionally, the XM-8010C Reflective Tape is certified to meet the NFPA 2112 standard, which ensures its effectiveness in protecting against flash fire hazards, enhancing the safety of wearers in potentially dangerous situations. Currently, we are also undergoing certification for ANSI 107 & CSA Z96 standards, further demonstrating our commitment to meeting high safety and visibility requirements for workwear.
To apply the reflective tape to FR garments, please use a heat press or iron. Do not dry clean the garments post-application. This reflective material is composed of PU and polyester resin, embedded with numerous glass micro-lenses within the adhesive layer and affixed to a film liner. Light reflects off these micro-lenses, bouncing back to vehicles or other light sources, thus increasing the visibility of anyone wearing the reflective tape in low-light conditions.
